How the job runs
Roofers don't work in steps. We work in courses.
A "course" is one row of shingles, laid so it overlaps the row below it. That's also how we run a project — each stage covers and protects the one before it.

Course 1
Walkthrough & measure
A crew lead climbs up, not just looks up — checking deck, slope, ventilation, and every penetration before we quote a single shingle.

Course 2
Tear-off & deck check
Old material comes off down to the sheathing. Any soft or rotted decking gets replaced before anything new goes back on — always itemized, never assumed.

Course 3
Underlayment & flashing
Ice-and-water shield at eaves and valleys, synthetic felt across the field, new step and counter flashing at every wall and chimney.

Course 4
Material install
Shingles, panels, or tile go on in staggered courses to code and manufacturer spec — usually one to three days, weather depending.

Final walk & warranty
We walk the roof and the yard with a magnetic nail sweep, then hand over your workmanship warranty and manufacturer registration.
